BACKGROUND
Mamun Khan was born on 2nd February 1976 in Mahmudpur of Shariatpur district in a noble Muslim family. Father Mr. Ali Ahmed Khan and mother Achia Khatun, Mamun Khan is the eldest among three brothers / His father Ali Ahmed Khan was a great stage actor, hence Mamun Khan’s weakness towards culture. He won the first place after which he became a regular in stage plays and later became a member of Gram Theater and Shariatpur Theater. Later, he himself created a theater group named Navachetna Theater. In the 90s, when Mamun Khan was in ninth grade, he composed and directed his first stage play, Kadam Talaya Army Camp, for which he received the District Arts Academy Award. After that, he passed the higher secondary school and went to Dhaka from Shall in 1995 and started his journey in Bengali films as an assistant director of the late film director Aziz Ahmed Babul. After 10 years, he made his debut as a director in 2005. After that he produced about 30 dramas, telefilms, serial dramas and a number of TV commercials and produced two films.

CAREER
Since 1995, Mamun Khan started his professional career. directing short films, TV dramas, documentaries and feature films, making TV commercials, and management of large commercial and trade events. Before beginning work as an independent director, Mamun Khan has garnered working experience as a chief assistant director and co-director in several TV dramas, documentaries, and TV commercials & movie with renowned directors of Bangladesh. It is almost over a decade (more than ten years ) that he has been enjoying his career in media as a successful director/film maker where he made numerous popular directing well accepted by the audience and highly appreciated by the critics. Among his most notable works, he has directed &writed several drama serials one of them contained 104 episodes. He also made short films, single episode dramas, telefilms, web series, television commercials, musical programs, and dance programs for various satellite television channels of Bangladesh. As a director, he was involved in making the Two Full movie titled I LOVE YOU PRIYA & NETAGIRI he has writed&directed. he has writed&directed several drama serials.
